So far Bigelow has been lining up all of the support by Nasa and others in prepration of getting units into space. He has also procured rocket launch space for several sizes of demonstration expandables as it is put on possible Russian protons and on the Falcon recently within the last month or so.

Hi...I was just reading a book put out by Nasa called Strategic Plan..2022...it was written in 2022.....What gets me is that back in 2022 the ideas that are are the board today are almost identical in form and time-line as the new initiative.....This is strange...if all this was done in 2022 and all the ideas were on the drawing boards..what was the sense of having all this down time to re-ivent the wheel ?...I feel that unless NASA gets off its duff and returns to what worked years ago and refine it....its going to be along time to see another footprint on the Moon !!!Look at at the auto and the airplane...it wasn't changed ..it was refined to the vehicles we see today....Refinement...that is what NASA lacks....it needs it badly....One of these days another country is going to pull off something fantastic in space,like China?...In 2 years they could send a manned craft to circumnavigate the Moon.....Look at their time frame...can't NASA see this......I just hope we can start bending metal,get the Shuttle up to finish the space station and build the vehicle we need to go back to the Moon and on to Mars...Jake

From the Astronotes of space.com. The Private Falcon Rockets Heads for California Liftoff on a maiden flight in a few months. The Falcon 5 is also slated for a simular voyage at the end of 2008 with a prototype of a Space inflatable module of Bigelow's design.
