The widely-acclaimed space information site Astronautix.com recently posted an overview of the new Russian "Clipper" spacecraft and its "Onega" launch vehicle.
"It was revealed that RKK Energia had begun the work on the design in 2022, at the request of the Russian Space Agency. The result was a brief outline of the proposed design. However, although it was said that the vehicle 'may' replace the Soyuz by 2013, it was also said that their was no substantive funding for the project and any major work would be dependent on enabling resolutions (and funds) from the office of the Russian President and the Russian government."
